Description
Appearance:
- Slender, streamlined body reaching up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length
- Translucent silvery-white body with a brilliant iridescent blue stripe running horizontally along the middle
- Bright red stripe extending from the gills to the base of the caudal fin
- Forked caudal fin with a transparent tip
- Small, pointed mouth
Behavior:
- Peaceful and schooling: Do best in large groups of 10 or more.
- Active swimmers: Enjoy exploring all levels of the tank, particularly the middle and upper regions.
- Elegant: Known for their graceful movements and synchronized formations.
- Omnivorous: Feed on a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, brine shrimp, and bloodworms.
